wsmith30132
So i threw a p0244 in 4th gear the other morning. Now 2 days later im not reaching full boost, pulling timing and spooling slow. Any thought before i start to rip stuff apart looking? Here are 3 logs all within a 1/2 hour of random stuff. Maybe wategate friction??93 low boost 1.csv93 low boost 2.csv93 low boost 3.csv
wsmith30132
Update- The wastegate seems to be fine so I took my TMIC and downpipe off. The shaft play seems to be ok on the turbo but there seems to be alot more blow by than usual. The engine seems to idle fine and run ok besides the boost issues. Pease tell me this would be a blown turbo (going bad) and not likely an engine issue. I have 65k on the stocker?

Infamous1
I seen this days ago however never posted... You are not underboosting, your WGDC's are just capped. If the outside temp is fairly high you will under shoot the target. The overboost most likely was colder temps, high gear low rpma nd possibly poor tuning as well as the knock you are seeing up top. wsmith30132
About 6 weeks ago I added a mid and Y pipe. Everything else was already catless and opened up so I thought the tune would be ok. I am starting to learn how big of an restriction the stockers are. The only thing is that the weather hasnt changed to much and I was fine for a month or so...thanks for the info
