Jonathan Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 Maine is a lovely area. Its also a very strange place. Very few jobs. There is a very large contrast between the "haves" (mostly along the coastal regions) and the "have nots" (mostly in the inland rural areas). If you travel along the inland rural areas don't expect to see lots of tourist and "trendy" areas... just travel and observe the area and imagine how these people manage to survive.
