JoeFromPA
Hey all, I bought a grease gun with a fixed 8" metal tube, only to realize that I need a "whip cord" style hose for the grease gun. So in my moment of stupidity, I decided "Well, I"m down on the ground with a grease gun and squeaking bushings, might as well rub a little grease around". I used one finger to push away the old dirty grease and grime surrounding the bushing on the bar, and another finger to layer on a thick bit of grease on either side of the bushing where it touches the bar. I did this on both ends of the car. Squeaking gone! Very lazy, and I know I need to grease it through the zerk fitting properly, but also very satisfying Joe
