Opie
Sorry if this is old new but I just found it on the eligible list: http://www.world-challenge.com/competitors/vts.html Now someone just needs to build and compete one! Come on SOA, commission Prodrive to build some World Challenge Cars!
timbuktu
I was wondering whether the LGT would be eligible for Speed World Challenge. I think it'd make a great competitor, get Subaru's name out to people outside of rally aficionados and go head to head with Audi. Perhaps in the near future we'll see an LGT commercial where its pulling away from the start at Laguna Seca.
axis008
Although I put the first choice, isn't there a RWD Impreza that's going to be running? -ben
Xenonk
if Racecomp Engineering and I actually had that kind of money, I would be all over it.. but I would actually need to get my NASA/SCCA and other license to compete first Keefe Keefe
Xenonk
the 328s, TSX, Caddillacs, and the SRT-4s are already running around, I think the STi would be a better choice to run since it's a lighter car with a lot more parts support to deal with... but a GT would be cool to watch as well. Cool thing about World Speed Challenge is that they use Street legal tires for races, so that cuts costs down for race teams.. kinda... :/ Keefe Keefe
Opie
Only Subie running in World Challenge is Irish Mike's WRX in the Touring Series. I believe it is still AWD.
