slm90legacy
I looked all over the forums, but didn't find a thread that answered my question. so here it is! I am looking at getting 2 Rockford Fosgate P1S412 Subs, they are 12 inch, 4 Ohm subs, with a power range at 50-150 watts RMS. Here's a link to them on crutchfield. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575P1S412/Rockford-Fosgate-P1S412.html I am having trouble picking an amp for them, as I am new at this, and don't know much of what i'm picking, but I do know I want Rockford Fosgates. So I found a rockford amp also on crutchfield, but I don't know if it will power the subs or not, here's its link. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575R1502/Rockford-Fosgate-Prime-R150-2.html?c=3 So if you guys can help me out that would great. IF that amp doesn't work some suggestions would be great as well, i wanna keep it rockford brand, and at a cheap price, so thanks for your help in advance:redface:

alaskajoel
I know you wanted to stay fosgate (i don't blame you - really good stuff) but there are a lot of other great options too. I've had a JL 10w3 powered by an MTX tc3001. (300 watts x 1 at 2ohm) and that would fit your bill perfectly. Just wire your two subs in parallel to get a 2 ohm load. Also has a lot of other great features you can read about below. If you want a deal pm me - i've used these amps in a lot of different applications and they are very reliable. http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/TC3001.cfm
