Maybe it had a turbo blow at 100k, maybe the whole block was replaced at 140k, who knows? Joe Considering other non-induction instances where engines failed at about 100k, this is indeed something to be impressed... Remember our cars have engines with higher pressure, therefore more wear and tear than a normally aspirated 2.5i. JoeFromPA Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 Yeah, but lots and lots of manufacturers have been making comparable turbocharged engines for decades with 150-200k being a pretty normal life for an engine/turbo/trans....
