CatInTheDryer Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 Yesterday my cigarette lighter outlet and ashtray light went out. I checked the fuse and it was fine (tried a new one just to be sure) and metered 12v at the fuse box...the outlet itself did not meter. Before I go tearing into the console I was curious if the outlet and ashtray light were tied together. Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. CT05Legacy Posted February 26, 2010 Share Posted February 26, 2010 how'd you get the ashtray/cig lighter console out? my cig lighter is loose and no longer works when i plug my ipod fm transmitter in it. need to get in there and check the wiring and tighten stuff up. any tips on removing that area of the console would be helpful.
