BillyJoe
Hey all, I am planning on clearing my headlights soon, and i wanted to know if i took out my headlights, would i need to re-aim them again back to specs? Or will the aiming of the beams be unaffected by my taking the headlight housing apart? I'm just asking because i want to know how much time to dedicate to this project as well as being in a suitable location to perform the headlight aiming procedures. I'm hoping the answer is "no". Thanks for your help! Stanley
m sprank
As long as you don't mess with the projector lens set up when you have the light housing apart everything will be fine. The light fixture is held in with several bolts, so it isn't going to move out of position. No aiming is required unless you adjust or modify the projector lens set up. I had no issues when clearing my lights or adding the HID low beams.
