nka
I'm trying to find wheels on cars, same brand but different, so I can compare 17 and 18" ! I'm willing to get 17" wheels, cause tires and wheels cost less, but 18" seem's to be much more pretty ! If you have any! Thanks !
stanjk3
Depends on how good your roads are. They suck around here, so if/when I get new wheels, I'm sticking with 17's. Also 18" tires are about $25 more per tire over 17's. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp?width=215%2F&ratio=45&diameter=17&filterType=bestseller&skipOver=true&autoYear=2005&diameter=17&sortCode=49500&autoModel=Legacy+Wagon+2.5+GT&skipOver=true&ratio=45&autoMake=Subaru&minLoad=S&autoModClar=Limited&minSpeedRating=H&width=215%2F&filterType=bestseller&vehicleSearch=true&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&speed_rating=H&speed_rating=V&speed_rating=Z&speed_rating=W&speed_rating=Y&speed_rating=(Y)&RunFlat=All&loadRank=2 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?make=Continental&model=ContiExtremeContact&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&partnum=24WR8CEC Friends don't let friends drink cheap beer. nka
I've already compared price. Here it's about 150-200$CAD difference for 4. Juste want to see "real life" picture Like, someone got 18" BBS and before he had the 17" versions.
caramall2
Search for "18x8.5" "18x8" etc. and you'll see a bunch of pics. It's basically your choice, and sounds like you are mostly concerned with looks--18 fills the wheel well a little nicer and looks a little better, but it's more expensive and generally (depending on the profile) doesn't protect the rim quite as well (not necessarily a big deal depending on where you live). If your roads are ok, if you want the best "look", and you want to spend the extra money, get the 18".
nka
I did like 10 pages of Wheels/Tires for sales and logs of "Legacy Photos" section, that's why I'm asking. Here, road arent so good.
LGTLW
If the roads suck, it's not a question....you need to stick with the 17. Thread ended.

collegemt
I decided to go with 18's on my 08 WRX and i regret my decision. I love the way 18's look, but the roads here in colorado suck. I hit a minor pothole doing 60mph and put a dent in my rim.
Claw
If I can find a worthy 17" rim that I like (*cough* STI BBS *cough*) I'll be selling my 18" Prodrive PFF7's...
