I talked to one close to me and they had no idea what a VF52 is and there was no way they would put in a VF46. My VF40 blew and the impeller flew off and busted my downpipe cat. So, the private shop i had it towed to overnighted a brand new dp only to tell me 3 days later that no turbos were available (which i knew anyways). So, three weeks later, i've got a VF40-18g, STi uppipe, stainless oil line, a tune, a catch can, and a turbo timer getting ready to go on. I'd like this turbo to go as long as the car does. underground000 Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 They are out of the turbos cause its being replaced with with wrx turbo , JK, but it makes sense just to have 2 turbos instead of 3. think how much money they will save, and they can stock more turbos and the reflashing the computer takes a few min, no money spent for extra hardware. so manufacturing 2 turbos is cheaper SOA!! 5eat downshift rev match:) Powder coated wheels: completed:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
