puckfreak
I'm going to be replacing the stock speakers with some Polk db651's and disconnecting the factory tweeter. Is there anything special I need to do with the wiring? I got all this from Crutchfield so they gave me wiring adapters, but I'm wondering if I'll still get the full range signal to the new speaker? Is there any type of cross-over that splits the signal? Basically, I just want to know if this is going to be truly "plug and play".

Town
Does the 6" get a full range signal?
SVXdc
Yes, the wires go straight from the radio to the door speakers, so those get full range. The wires also tap off (connected in parallel) to go to the tweeters. Each tweeter has a capacitor on the back that serves as a high-pass filter.
