FASTONE
Hi, i have been tuned by a local tuner and now just wanted to make sure that i m running ok, and looks like that i got knock, here is a attached image of learning view, never used it and not sure what the numbers mean exactly but usually -4 is not good. so here is the image, i logged it using RR and it only does it during hard shifts. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp39/timkl25/LearningView_SS_4-10-200984725PM.jpg Here are the two quick logs http://www.box.net/shared/o0qgk4ta0t and http://www.box.net/shared/a89f2ubiti 2nd is the one with shift and knock. ****PLEASE advice what to do, i will do a few more logs and post tomorrow**** Did more logs, everything looks ok> Here: http://www.box.net/shared/tj320v7r4n and http://www.box.net/shared/derdvuabci i ve done more pulls and no knock, can someone chipe in and explain how come learing view shows the negative numbers?? RdiggA
if your shifting hard this may cause knock.
mickeyd2005
Fast shifting almost NEVER causes FLKC. The ecu keeps track of the moving average of the change in load per unit time. If load is changing quickly, it will choose to use FBKC instead of FLKC when it detects knock. The car has problems. Either the tune or mechanical. Take a look at AFR Learning A&B. LittleBlueGT
MAF scale needs to be changed, but the LV is not really that bad (as far as knock goes). Full tune of 68HTA, KSTech 73 MAF, Racer X FMIC and ID1000s................by the DataLog Mafia!!!
mickeyd2005
MAF scale needs to be changed, but the LV is not really that bad (as far as knock goes). The LV in A&B wouldn't cause knock, but it's an indication that something is wrong.
FASTONE
Mickeyed2005, what do you think could be wrong, my mods are, cobb dp, perrin up, perrin drop in filter and GFB 50/50 BOV and an exhaust leak if that makes any difference.
mickeyd2005
If you have a leak near the front O2 sensor (lower gasket of uppipe, or any of the exhaust manifold gaskets), it will cause the AFR Learning A and B to become very large positive. It usually doesn't cause problems except higher fuel consumption and more emissions and slightly slower boost response. You should get a WBO2 and check your AFRs. FASTONE
whats a WBO2, i have a leak at from DP to cat back, will fix it this week, can it cause that, i check the uppipe and turbo connectors with soap and water. Do i have a problem and possibly issue with a motor.turbo or just something to keep in mind
boostsr20
WBO2 = Wideband o2 sensor.
FASTONE
ok, any other ideas what can be cacusing in it and if i can drive the car like this?
yamie700
Are you sure your airbox is sealed right, that the locking tabs aren't off or anything? I'm scaling my stock intake with perrin drop in filter right now, but my AFR learning A and B weren't nearly as high as yours even when I was using the stock scaling.
