new tire questions

Recommended Posts

I'm looking into getting new tires and wanted some suggestions as I am a noob. I'm on the OEM bridgestones now (in need of new ones because i have 2 tires with bubbles that are getting out of hand and one with a plug from a small slash...pot holes...). I want to improve handling and cornering however all season is of some importance since trips to the mountian for snowbaording are frequent. The snow isnt all that bad, as I live in North Jersey, but tires that can handle some snow while increasing performance would be perfect. any suggestions? thanks in advance.

How much money do you want to spend?

Bridgestone RE960 PP are nice and there is 75 mail-in rebate available on 4.

Cheaper? Look for Dunlop SP5000 (225/45R17). Quite nice tires but old design.

More expensive? Michelin Pilot Sport A/S or A/S Plus or Pilot Exalto A/S.

Krzys

PS There is $50 cash/$75 amazon gift card rebate on Dunlops.
