Power Steering

Recommended Posts

I have a 2009 LGT with 13k miles. Recently, after having the car in for some warranty work regarding the radio/antenna. Today I drove a few hundred miles. Afterwards I noticed it was difficult to turn the steering wheel. I thought maybe I had just became used to the sloppy forester steering.

I just checked the power steering fluid level. It was at the very lowest line, "cold min". I assume that it is simply low on power steering fluid. I suppose it's a little strange that I noticed this right after the car was repaired. My plan is to just add some power steering fluid. I find it a bit odd that it's low already, given that it is so new.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks in advance guys.

yeah, radio is to the right, and steering wheel to the left. can't see why they'd touch unless you have s.w. controls and were having issues with that too
258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
