CapnJack
Last night when I was coming home, I had low boost (~8.1 max) on my stage 1 LGT 5MT. When I got home, I checked all over for vacuum leaks and also checked the intercooler end tabs as well as the recirculation valve for proper function. I reset the ecu and took it back out and was building 16lbs of boost again. There are no check engine lights and the car seems to run normally. Would this be a problem with the ecu limiting boost for some reason or is this a bigger problem? Thanks!
mickeyd2005
Wastegate spring pressure is a little bit more than 8 psi on the VF46. You should use learning viewer to confirm that your car isn't accumulating a lot of FLKC and dropping IAM due to severe knocking.
CapnJack
Thanks for the info! I am trying to get my laptop set up to start looking at this. There is a bit of a learning curve however. I will report back! Thanks again!
