Three blind mice Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Well, went to get my oil changed at the suby garage, 49K and I am leaking a-freeze and need a head gasket fix. My warantee is out and I'm looking at a couple grand. I was wondering if anyone in my shoes would/sell the car/trade, or put in some hotted gaskets for more power, or what are my options here. GEE-OTTO Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 The key is finding a shops that knows a boxer engine and one that doesnt seek to charge the hell out of you for doing it. Another user got a H/G job with water pump done for $900 that aint bad shop around is your best bet or DIY make sure youve got a nice torque wrench Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
