Hanger
2 weeks ago i backed into a high curb while trying to turn around in an narrow and dark alley. The accident pushed in my passenger side muffler, pushed it out of its hanger. I had to hammer the hanger back to its mount the next day. But whenever i take a left turn (whenever car leans to the right) or backing up i can hear a distinct and gradual increasing screeching noise from the damage point (passenger rear corner). 2 weeks after, just yesterday when i was washing the car, i looked pass the passenger side rear wheel then noticed my RSB mount is freaking bent! I investigated it further by looking under the car and saw the Y-pipe is bent, therefore pushed forward and hit the RSB mount causing it to bent as well. I suspect the screeching noise might come from RSB being pushed forward and comes in contact with other components near the axle. Please see the pictures for me and let me know what i should look out for when i have a shop look at it for me. Please provide some insights on how extensive the problem may be, and advices on what to replace. Thank you very much in advance!!! One more thing, I was wondering if i can bend the mount back and reinforce it with AVO RSB Mount http://www.avoturboworld.com/avoshop/images/300_bp_stabimount001.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d70/Hangerr/K800i/DSC01283.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d70/Hangerr/K800i/DSC01284.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d70/Hangerr/K800i/DSC01281.jpg ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○

apexjapan
You can bend it back, or to ensure results, do it at a place that can re-weld it if it breaks. Using our rear mount brackets would definitely help to keep it where it should be! Regards, Paul Hansen http://www.avoturboworld.com
Hanger
will i need to get longer bolts for the sway bracket if w/ the addition of AVO RSB mount? ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
j0ebert
No, it re-uses the OEM bolt in there. You can save some money with these too: http://www.progressauto.com/products/sfID1/15/sfID2/58/sfID3/131/productID/481.
Hanger
can you imaging why there are metal screeching sounds? ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
Hanger
Problem fixed, bent the mount back and added RSB reinforcement mount the source of the screech is actually my endlink rubbing on the axle, looks fawking scary!!! http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d70/Hangerr/K800i/DSC01305.jpg ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
