DarkOblivion000
Well this doesn't help as much as I thought it might, but what I did for my old corolla was this. I looked up the instrument panel bulb here: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/ And then i bought the type of replacement bulb that it indicated for the instrument panel here: http://autolumination.com/ However, I just looked up 2005 Legacy, and it doesn't tell you what model of LED goes behind the instrument panel. I am assuming this means that possibly the bulbs are integrated with the panel in that model, which may be a more difficult problem. Damn, I was planning on replacing my instrument panel lighting too. Maybe you can stop by the dealership to see if they know what bulbs are used back there and whether or not they are replaceable or if they are integrated with the panel itself? a bulb behind my instrument cluster went out, the one at hte 0 to 1krpm side of hte tach, it went dark. car is 05 LGT i can remove the clsuter pretty easily, but anyone know how easy it is to replace this? led or bulb? i would hate for me to get it out and the findout i cant replace hte bulb without taking the entire thing apart. thanks1 Bing
LGT Dave
I'm not sure those LED's are replaceable. Most of them there are soldered to the circuit board. See the first page of this thread for some close ups of the gauge cluster: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61800.
