Hey, is the guy buying your rims the same guy that was on nasioc.com asking everyone about the availability of Volkner Formula Mesh rims? If it is, then I'm the guy that sent him your way.

He might be the same guy.. He was looking for mesh wheels and found my NASIOC posting of all my parts-for-sale thread.

where do you store all your rims and stuff?

at the corner of my garage (2 car garage.. one side is full of car parts, tools, and other misc stuff).. I made 4 stacks of 8 wheels/tires.

I had a pic of my garage before I cleaned it...

well, I havent finalized if it's going to be at my house or not for the GT4 party (still trying to figure out what the LAN needs in terms of software and game progress).. it's no fun just playing stock cars.. I use to LAN GT3 from time to time and it only allowed one memory card load-up that has the tracks unlocked.. You couldnt use garaged cars.. I will try to see how lan works on Friday night with my other PS2 and see how the LAN works in this game.

Yea, a 10' U-HAUL truck can fit a lot of tires.. ever seen the Yokohama Advan Race Tire Carrier or Hoosier Race Tire Carrier?

And I really need to get me one of these:

i thought you said that your next set of wheels will be "pimp" set?

my buddy and i are going to try out this program called "xlink evo 7". made in the uk. i read about it a couple days ago and never got a chance to get it out and by coincidence I saw it on techtv (i hate that show. i use it for room noise). in a nutshell, you're using your pc to tunnel the ps2 data back and forth so the ps2 thinks that it's on a LAN with other ps2's. thus the virtual lan over the internet.

hehe, as much I want a set like the VS-XX or FIKSE, I am more worried about having it for street use only as there are haters out there that really want to mess up name brand stuff. If I had that kind of money to burn, I wouldn't bother posting up this thread and just post up "look, more rims for me to have" kind of thread... I was thinking of:

in 19"x8"s just for kicks.. clean looking enough? I have a set of 17"x8" right now in silver (above is Hyper Gray/Gunmetal).

Privat Fahrens. Pretty reasonably priced too, I think the 19x8 are $310 a piece. Any idea how much they weigh? I'm chomping at the bit to buy some summer tires/rims. Might even consider these if they don't weigh a ton. I first fell in love with them on an evo.

PS. A couple of months ago I asked if anyone knew where to get titanium lugnuts. I'm still looking if anyone has a clue.
