Beanboy
Thanks to my intake, can't put on the stock cover. While I had 4+ years of no lights burning out, the passenger side has now gone out twice in a year. I know for some, that's average , but since the last time the glass was shattered and I noticed right after a heavy rainstorm, water is obviously getting in where it shouldn't be. Wondering what folks think would be the best approach for making some type of splash guard for at least the top half, so water entering where the air intake used to be just doesn't drip right down into the headlight housing. Thanks! -B http://www.standardshift.com
ean611
How about modifying the stock cover so it fits, and using some other plastic to cover the sections you cut out? Pics of area?
Beanboy
If you have stock intake, area under the snorkel that runs to front right under hood. Should be able to see the cover on the driver side. Will have pics this weekend. Meh, will try and rig something up this weekend. Just curious if anybody else had the issue. -B http://www.standardshift.com
