RedDawg
I'm guessing this would be the appropriate section for this. For short around town trips we use my g/fs car to transport the dog but for longer trips we'll be using mine. I'm pretty confident i can protect the interior with these dog-hammock things that cover the seats. But for transporting his crate, does anyone else on here have to ever transport a dog crate? He's 100+lbs so his crate is too large to fit in the trunk. I'm thinking maybe a roof rack then clamp it onto the rack??
meier motor sports
does the crate break down any? will if fit in the trunk in pieces?
johnAWD
^^ Disassemble it and transport it in the trunk. This is what we do.
RedDawg
does the crate break down any? will if fit in the trunk in pieces? it collapses down so its about 2" thin, but it retains the length/width. It fits in the trunk width ways but its too long and sticks out the back end.
