TRS Posted February 18, 2005 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Here's another rear lip style spoiler, without a brake light. It's the one Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru puts on their "GTX". I'm pretty sure it's made by ANS. I wanted to see if I could buy directly from the manufacturer (you know, cut out the middle man) but they said they'd direct me to the people they developed it for. I asked for the referal a month ago but never heard back from ANS so just guessed it was Kolb Jr. Kolb parts department sells it for $399.00 and says it lists for $545.00. Shipping was quoted as $12.69 for UPS ground from NY to IL. It comes already painted. Installation requires drilling mounting holes. Kolb used to have installation pictures and instructions on their web site but I don't see them any more. I decided to go with a Subaru JDM spoiler but haven't gotten around to installing it yet. Thus my first comment in post # 5, "non-STI lip spoiler from AVO" It comes down to whether or not twice the money is worth the IBL and thhe 'STi' moniker. IMHO, no.
