Fm transmitters for legacy

I just went through 2 different FM transmitters and neither worked like i wanted it to...My friend has one for his Accord and it works perfect in his car, but when i put it into my car its not the same at all...My friend says that different FM transmitters work better with different cars...Do any of you guys have one that works well with Subaru Legacy? BTW I'm too much of a cheap ass to get a new head unit and use the aux...So leave those recommendations to yourself!!!

I did what you were to cheap to do in my car

 

I have found that FM transmitters never work as well in my mom's '06 than they do in others cars... I am not sure why though.

Get the Scosche FM Transmitter. There is a huge thread about this:

I have one and it works like a charm in my LGT wagon. Just remember: don't buy the one with iPod connector(read that thread to get more info).
