bribri2783
So my roommate totalled my 2005 GT Limited last night (if he hadn't been on a backboard in an ambulance I'd have choked his ass) so I'm on the hunt for a replacement. My question is...what new features have been added since the '05? I've heard the '06s and '07s have an aux input for plugging in an MP3 player...is that so? If they're all basically the same then I'll save some $$$ and get another 2005, but I'm just curious. Thanks!
hondas123
Sucks, sorry to hear. Is your roommate OK? What happened? Pics? - The Mortgage Man
05GT Guru
The 06 has higher safety ratings and it can play mp3 cds. The 07s have the vf46 turbo instead of the vf40. The 07 and 08s are the same.
underpowerd
mmm...fold down rear seats
uwishu1
Search and you will find TONS of subtle differences. ^^^ That was the one I wished I had the most, but '07 and up is harder to tune.

chenc544
The 06 has higher safety ratings and it can play mp3 cds. Not true, only '06 SpecB's unit can play mp3. '06 also doesn't have the aux in, '07+ does. You can find all the info at http://www.cars101.com/subaru/legacy/legacy2006.html.
uwishu1
'07+ has fold down rear seats. Major bonus 'cause the passthrough I have is almost worthless. In '06 they also moved the airbag indicators to the roof instead of by the cubby.

Here's what happens when you give a old-school Toyota Landcruiser a 2005 Legacy enema :-) http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=14353171&albumID=228049&imageID=49143869
f1anatic
Very sorry to hear. Are you parting out anything from the car ? I would like a few pieces - some that have no meaning such as the plastic caps that seal the fog light lamps. Please let me know - send me a PM. Thank you. bsdzine
If you mean play mp3's as in you burn mp3's to a regular cd.. yea, that works. you cannot play a TRUE mp3 cd on the 2006lgt (non spec-b). brian

bribri2783
Farmers will be paying off this one luckily, and the roommate will be happily covering my deductible. Test drove a 2009 non-GT last night....what a let-down. The 2009 WRX hatchie was a helluva lot of fun though....

Looks like it was head-on.
Jordan
Id rather look at a baby panda in its cuttle beady little eyes, and then watch as its limbs are ripped apart roasted and fed to him then see this. Im sorry for your loss good sir.
