legacydispatcher
My 07 2.5i has stock pads and rotors. Every morning they squeak for the 1st couple times I hit the brake. Any way to fix this?
Max Capacity
Could be just a little rust. You might try "bedding in the brakes" I have found this works well. From 50-60mph hit the brakes hard until the ABS is just about the kick in, slowing to around 10mph but not stopping, repeat 4-5 times with in a very short distance. Drive the car a mile or so to let the brakes cool. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. SubieSteve
Mine just started doing the same. Morning when backing out of the driveway only once, then they are fine. I have new rotors though..albeit with old pads. I just ordered Hawk ceramics - I hope they do the trick.
ehsnils
Just check that the wear on the discs are equal on both sides, you may have a caliper that's stuck. I had to replace my both front discs a while ago due to stuck calipers.
