Axel Boot

if that boot has been open for any period of time don't just settle with replacing the boot, do the whole axle. as soon as dirt gets into that its just a matter of time. you can get rebuilt axles with lifetime warrantys for not to much and they aren't hard to replace either.

Dealer replaced mines for 200 bucks including parts. 1.5 hrs labor. Make sure they also install a brand new c-clip for the inner spline shaft

 

Hey Ridge,

What is the C-Clip on the inner shaft? Is that the small black seal that is plugged between the shaft and the gearbox (front of car).
