gstreev
I just did the fronts, no problem. In the past I have had problems with rears due to parking brake issues and having trouble turning in the caliper pistons. Can the pistons be pushed in with a clamp, do I nedd a special tool or do they have to be screwed in?
magnus617
if i remember correctly, mine weren't to bad.i just used a c-clamp and a piece of aluminium angle. never, under any circumstances, take sleeping pills at the same time as a laxative. ilh
You can definitely just push the rear pistons in with a clamp. You might want to look at the vacation pix.
RustyShackleford
Frankly, I've always been able to push the pistons in with firm pressure with my hands - and I don't think I have unusually strong hands (for a guy). There's of course the issue of overflowing the fluid reservoir when you do this - SpeedBleeder users can simply open the bleeder screw on the wheel in question. RustyShackleford
Thanks, do you have anything that shows the rotor removal? Its the parking brake setup that I'm not sure about? I'm a little fuzzy on when I did mine a few years ago, but I remember it being just like the front ones, and the parking brake a non-issue. (That was a MY97).
