sub95
Hi, this is my first post. I have a 95 subaru legacy and it's a great second car. When i bought it the rotors were turned and had new brake pads installed. I'm not sure what pads were installed or how many times the rotors were turned. It just seems like you have to push the pedal pretty far for it to start braking, but even when you press harder, it just doesn't seem to bite hard at all. It feels real spongy at any point of pressing on the brakes. Is this just the pads and rotors, considering they aren't good pads or rotors, or is it something else, or were the brakes like this for this car? Thanks for your help. fweasel
try bleeding the brakes, might be air in the system. Could be really crappy low friction pads, could be the new pads and new rotor surface combo. Could be a leaky brake booster. could be... ignore him, he'll go away.
