SW7RT Posted November 8, 2008 Share Posted November 8, 2008 Remember, Vettel was on a 3 stop strategy and Hamilton a 2 stop, so Vettal should have been lighter towards the end, also if Alonso was helping Massa then whats wrong if Timo helped Hamilton secured his position. I don't think Timo would have, but so what if he did after Alonso said he would help Massa. While watching the race I saw the drops of rain on the last turn, of the last lap, of the last race and thought Hamilton missed the drivers championship again this year. In disbelief I watched as Hamilton passed Timo, whether it was the rain or one driver helping the next, it was cool seeing the race come down to the very end. ehsnils Posted November 8, 2008 Share Posted November 8, 2008 Only difference between Vettel and Hamilton would have been the tires, not the weight since they calculate the amount to be filled to have the optimal end of race weight.
