So i'm looking to add the factory shock sensor to my 09 legacy gt. I just stepped outside to check that there is in fact a connector and mounting point under the passenger front seat and i can't seem to find one. i moved the seat as far to the front as possible and the only thing under their is a large black box with a bunch of numbers and the word leather. Anyone know whats going on here??:confused:

Do you have the new Harmon Kardon stereo? If so that black box is probably the amp for it. There's not really a mounting point for the shock sensor. It comes with a bracket that attaches to one of the bolts holding the seat to the floor. The connector should be taped up and tucked next to one of the A/C vents under the seat. Below are some pics of my car. I don't have the shock sensor, but I got curious one day and decided to see where the connector for it was. Unfortunately I do not know where exactly the H/K amp is mounted so it may be blocking your view of the vents under the seat (there should be two vents under there).

This is taken from the back seat looking at the bottom of the front passenger seat. The harness is hiding under the right side near an air vent where the arrow is pointing.

This is looking underneath the back of the front passenger seat at the air vent on the right side. The harness is taped up in there with the blue tape.

Have you looked at the installation guide?

The plug for my car was really tucked in there. The blue tape was a dead giveaway that I found the right harness to cut loose.
