Pricci09
Hey guys I have a SWP legacy gt with the taupe interior, I was wondering if my windows would look significantly different with a 35% window tint. also, does anyone know if a 35% tint would be legal in Maryland? absolutsnwbrdr
http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/MD/ Although my car isnt SWP, I do have 35 and its great.... not too dark at night, but definitely a big improvement during the day! I've always had 35 put on all my cars. http://photos-768.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v357/231/4/72100768/n72100768_30834147_4455.jpg http://photos-768.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v357/231/4/72100768/n72100768_30834148_5449.jpg

Bbc84
I think I have 30% or 35% all around http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Bbc84/Legacy%20GT/P1060843.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Bbc84/Legacy%20GT/P1060848.jpg
Pricci09
do we have a factory tint on our cars that would make 35% illegal?
baruGT
i know in ATL its like 32%...I'm keeping the "fishbowl" look/no tint for me..one less reason for a cop to look twice..
absolutsnwbrdr
do we have a factory tint on our cars that would make 35% illegal? nope, there is no window treatment other than UV treatment which may be considerable to 99.9% transmitted light. so aftermarket 35% should actually measure 35%. and just look at all the cars rollin around with limo dark 5% tint... cops are goin after them, not you. Pawlwawl06
Hmm I wonder if keeping the sunshade thing for the sunroof open will help to hide an illegal tint job
NotMyGT
My car is OBP and I have limo in the rear and 35% in the front. I'll get pictures soon.

Gmoe
Hmm I wonder if keeping the sunshade thing for the sunroof open will help to hide an illegal tint job As a matter of fact...it does, esp. on a cloudy day.

LegacyGTBiggie
35% is fine. Most shops run 38% to be safe for the legal reasons. I have 30% on mine. But it looks fine either way. The shop i went to was 40 or 30 and the 40 was just to light.
hairlessrien
I have 20% ceramic by ACCUTINT. I think it looks beautiful. My car is SWP with the ivory color interior. The light tan color makes the tint look much lighter than it really it. Here is a pic...http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i138/hairlessrien/l.jpg
adidasoutback
20% is legal as a national standard and in some states it is darker. Front usually have a limit of 20 always whilst rears are usually not limited at all. My car has 20 up front and 1o in the back. I going to have the backs made 0 and the front 5 percent. U can see the tint diff here http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b253/regulata700t/OutbackOverbrush065.jpg
