jonklein611
Assuming you can get an instructor to go along at least once (very easy to do, SCCA guys love telling you what to do, esp as a rookie), you get to learn the limits of your car very quickly. The drive home tends to be disappointing though. (you tend to see highway on ramps and go, hmmmmm how fast can I make around there....)
xihearthookersx
yeah there was a porche club meet the day before doing autox and a guy was clocked doing triple digits and got a big ticket. there was a cop sitting on the road the next day when we all went in. it was interesting. i think a miata and a porche got tickets for speeding.
