croll326
Well after wearing a hole through 2 sets of Subaru all weather mats i need better ones. I am interested in either the Husky or Weathertech mats or floor liners. I know many people have the Weathertech but i have not hear much about Husky. Please let reviews and pics to help me out. This is greatly appreciated. I am really interested on how the hold up where your heel rest. This is where i have worn holes in the Subaru mats. Thanks! Darkness of Death
weathertechs cover more up the sides but less up the front (driver and passenger side) huskies cover less up the sides but more up front and covers the whole dead pedal as the weathertechs cover half of it. however...the huskies are not shaped perfectly and will be in the way to put the clutch pedal all the way down as well as the gas pedal ( may not get WOT when you have the pedal all the way down) i used huskies in the front and weathertech in the rear - though i've seen the huskies for the rear and they are pretty much the same - i prefer no back seat passengers so it's ok like that ~
fatbastard
Wife got me the weathertech liners and I love them. The fit is really good but as mentioned they do not go very far up the firewall but far enough to keep 99% of the crap off the carpets. Had them in almost a year and they still look great more importantly the interior still look sood and with taupe that isn't easy. Here are some pics of mine : http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77652
Siper2
I use WeatherTech, but haven't had the liners, just the rubber mats. There's no custom fit for the '01 OB, but these are the ones we got for my wife, from WT: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v396/Siper2/Subaru%20Outback%20LL%20Bean/OfficeAnnointing017.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v396/Siper2/Subaru%20Outback%20LL%20Bean/OfficeAnnointing018.jpg They do have custom fits for the '05 GT, so here's the black ones I just got for my new car. The rears are generic, I had to trim some off the edges: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v396/Siper2/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT%20Limited/Oct12008/DSC_0002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v396/Siper2/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT%20Limited/Oct12008/DSC_0001.jpg
Guest
weathertechs cover more up the sides but less up the front (driver and passenger side) huskies cover less up the sides but more up front and covers the whole dead pedal as the weathertechs cover half of it. however...the huskies are not shaped perfectly and will be in the way to put the clutch pedal all the way down as well as the gas pedal ( may not get WOT when you have the pedal all the way down) i used huskies in the front and weathertech in the rear - though i've seen the huskies for the rear and they are pretty much the same - i prefer no back seat passengers so it's ok like that ~ He asked about mats not liners. I use front Weathertech mats + rear Husky liner. I also use Weathertech liners in front together with the mats for winter. That way I get best coverage in front - I agree the liners by themselves are too short. Husky liners in front cover better (so in rear) but the material is stiff and slippery. Front Husky mats are semi-custom and do not fit well (although the rubber is very nice).

Soda Popinski
What's the price? I have the Subaru all-weather mats and they own anything else I've ever seen.
LGT Dave
What's the price? I have the Subaru all-weather mats and they own anything else I've ever seen. The Subaru mats are nice until you wear through them in a year or two. I liked mine, but they definitely didn't last very long.

Soda Popinski
Not the mats. The All Weather ones... the heavy rubber ones that are like 3/4 of an inch thick. They came with my car, along with the regular mats.
Guest
Yes, mats, not carpets. The all weather mats are aweful JUNK.
BigInALegacy
Hmmm... I thought mine did well this past Winter... (just one N.E. winter) Although i did pick up some Coco-mats off a member here. Look like carpet, but some tough (think brillo-pad) stuff. Expensive to custom order ($200+), thankfully I got a good deal on them. Gonna see how they do in the Winter, cuz they look VERY nice. LGT Dave
Yes, mats, not carpets. The all weather mats are aweful JUNK. +1 I mean't the all-weather mats as well. They look like they're nice, but they don't last.

FSRBIKER
I bought the Husky liners and they fit pretty well, I like the fact that they catch everything and I just pull them out and brush or rinse them off. I paid around $60 each delivered for the front and rear.
apexi
I've had my weathertech floor liners for about a month now, and ever since i first got them i havent really been crazy about the way they fit.. They just seem slightly undersized i guess, there are gaps on all the sides. Also, on my driver side mat, it sort of bends inward and the area where the weathertech logo is doesnt sit on the ground, its sort of bent upwards in the air.. Anyone else have this problem? I took some pictures, although they really don't do the problem justice.. http://home.comcast.net/~dsmphotos/weathertech/mats.html I called weathertech earlier today, and they asked me to email them pictures of the problem. I'm hoping for an exchange, they said they are still waiting to hear back from the engineers..
Backlash
looks like they were bent in the box, conformed to wrong shape. hope they replace them for you. and yeah, I vote Weathertech also. Had them in many cars before they work great. now i need to buy some for the LGT... damn money pit.
jrss13
I also have the weathertechs... and although I love them... mine do the exact same thing as your photo's. I picked them up used and just sort of thought this is how they were supposed to be. Let me know what your outcome is, as if you get replacements... I may try also. Did you purchase them directly from weathertech?
apexi
I purchased directly from weathertech. I also spoke with them yesterday, and they are mailing me a replacement set. I'll update when the new set arrives.

2panther
Which weathertech mats does everyone love? My wife is looking to get me some for Christmas and looking at the weathertech site there are the all weather and then the digital fit. I like the look of the digital fit but it looks like the all weather type will be better for winter mats.
