Hey everyone, I'm the owner of Big "A" Detailing. I'm sure some of you have heard about me from sqc-ny.com as well as lisc.com. I also service evo-ny.com & g35nyc.com. I'm very interested in becomming a vendor over here. This introduction is short, but down to the point. Moderators please pm me all the information I would need to become a vendor on this site.

Thank you,

Andrew

owner/operator

Big "A" Detailing

149-17 Cross Island Pkwy

Whitestone, NY 11357

(718) 445- 9995

P.S. I'll be moving into my new shop on November 1st. The new place is only a few blocks away from this location & on the other side of the highway.

If you go into the user control panel you can sign up to become a vendor in there. It's a self-service type thing. :)

Welcome to the board, any locations or possibly a remote detailing day in NJ?

Thanks Mike. I'll now be an active member on here. Once I move, I'll sign up to become a vendor. Where in NJ? I would consider going out there, but only if the price was right & I had a few cars to do.I do have some customers that travel from northern sections of New Jersey.

I'm up in Edgewater, I know there are a bunch up here. Also I run AZP Installs down in Kenilworth, so perhaps we can setup a detailing day out at our place for yah and get a bunch of cars together, probably keep yah busy from 9am til 6pm on a saturday.

I hear Edgewater isn't far from my shop. I would be willing to set something up at your place, but not on a Saturday. I go mobile sometimes on Sundays & Mondays. I'll send you a pm so we can further discuss.

welcome to the neighborhood, i live in bayside so you are 5 mins away from my house. i usually do all my own washing, waxing, clay bar, and detailing but sometimes in the winter i get lazy and bring the car to beverly hills detailing on astoria blvd. as i am always looking for the next big thing i will surely give a neighborhood shop the opportunity to impress me. expect a call from me when the temps drop below 50.

First id like to say welcome to legacygt.com, and second Let me be the first to say that andrew is a true professional when it comes to what he does. If you guys want to see what he can do in a few hours with a legacy that looks like utter dog shit i think andrew has some excellent before and afters of my car.

I have been looking for someone like you for a while now. I got some swirls in my paint that I would like to get rid of too. $125 is a pretty good price..

Send me a pm on here or call me at the sop when your ready to bring your car in.

FireB

Nice, someone to keep in mind.

I'll see what this winter does on the paint and may call you next year!

You should at least get a good coat of hand wax applied for protection "before" winter starts.

nemo

Hmm, I might be calling before the winter.

Yea, call me for a good time 1-(800) 4ABUFFY lol

andrew props to you and your shop, I've got two people who will be going to you probably in the next few months to get a full detailing.

no lesbians though, so don't worry. lol

I appreciate the great writeup. Your satisfaction with my work makes me feel good about myself. I put my heart & soul into every car that comes into my shop. I want my customers to love my work. I want my customers to also enjoy chatting with me as it doesn't take much for me to open up as you can tell lol. I don't mind people watching me work while I entertain them with my funny stories of randomness. I want my customers to feel comfortable & confident that the car is in good hands. I enjoy what I do & just try to have fun while I'm at it. I'm glad everything worked out well. Your car was done on time & I was able to meet up with my girlfreind in the city without being late. Here's the pictures that I'm sure will grab everyones attention along with a short writeup.

This car was a certified BOMB! both inside & out. For the exterior, a 3 step paint correction was done. I don't like to advertise the products that I use however, Einszett 1Z Glanz Wax was applied by hand (hint! hint!) I love the depth this wax gives the paint. It gives it such a clear & wet reflection.

There was a good amount of swirl marks, hairline defects as well as acid rain spots on all top sections of the car.

Man...I'm sold!

Give me a call or send me a pm when your ready to have your car detailed.

iyalla

Einszett rocks!! You can get it locally on LI too

One of my favorite wax products of all time! It's difficult to work with because it does haze up once you take the car out into the sun. I mist water on the car & wipe it down one more time with a fresh micro fiber towel & its streak free!

Ridgeracer

I'm sold too...How long does it take.? I live in Bridgeport, CT so I would have to wait for my car to be done.

The average detail takes about 4 hours to complete. The black Legacy was almost as bad as it could be for paint quailty. That car was held over night & finished up the next day. I detailed the interior of it as well.

ok it looks great andrew. i'm gonna have to talk to you soon about my project car. 1991 camaro z28 with some paint chips, and some paint cracks. when i'm done with the engine swap I might have to dump it in your lap for a detail to see what it could really look like.

Hmm, should I start an Edgewater detail day list?

...........

If we have a place to do it, I know of at least 3 cars in Edgewater/Port Imperial that are interested.

I can provide space in Kenilworth, about 30 min from GWB at my shop AZP Installs if we wanted to do it there. Let me know.
