Do you guys know who tunes with EcuTEK in TriState area, or East Coast?

I have a 07 LGT, stage 3 +. I'm looking for someone who tunes with EcuTek anywhere on the east coast, preferably Tri State Area. I am willing to travel though if they can do a good job with my car. I've had it tuned with someone who just doesnt seem to get it right. My car keeps stalling out, and isn't running the way I want it to. Any help would be great, thanks

You really should have the ECUtek pulled from the ecu then opt for the Cobb AP. This will open up your tuner options. There are very few ECUTek dealers nowadays and even fewer who actually have the require cable to flash the 07+ CANbus vehicles.

+1...I did it. BTW, the V2 AP will write over the Ecutek tune.

Thats my problem, is i already paid for the license and dont wanna waste too much more money. But are you sure about the AP V2 being able to write over the Ecutek? That way i can have both but just use the AP?

No bashing please....

But yes TPLGT did just write over his ECUtek tune with his AP v2. I have heard good and bad things about almost every tuner across the county so I have no input there

Yep...it will write over it. No more Ecutek though...so if you buy the AP you need to know that the Ecutek liscense is 'sunk cost'. In my situaion I was screwed...no Tuner in a reasonable difference and my car was running pretty bad. The AP was the solution to my problems. Sucks to throw away cash.

Depending on your mods you may still need to see a tuner. I not sure if your still running that FP Green.

I think so^^ You would most likely wnat to have PDX or TA put together a map for you. If you can, get the protune....

If you're running a GT30, I think you will want to invest in a pro-tune.

what about North coast subaru? they do ecutek for the 07+

Ecutek lists them on their site, so it may be worth a try. They also list XX Tuning in CT at 860.291.8808

 

I'd give each a call, tell them your situation and see if they give you any level of comfort on the phone.
