Gregory Smith
Hello everyone.. I am the original owner of a 2002 Legacy Gt (non turbo) that has 175,000 miles on it and the original clutch. Curreently, I need to engage the clutch all the way to shift gears and I am planning to replace it before the holidays. Can anyone tell me what I should expect a Subaru dealer to charge to install a new clutch? Is there other trans work I should have done while the clutch is being replaced? I have a local mechanic that I trust and I am considering going to him instead of a dealership or do you think this is work best left to Subaru mechanic? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer. g
