What the F%?&$?!?! My car is falling appart!

Recommended Posts

I've just noticed that the mini-splashguard thing in front of the back wheel on the driver side is gone. It looks like the two push rivets that were holding it fell off. That thing must now be on the side of a road somewhere.

Now I'll have to buy a new one at the stealership because this piece of plastic covers a hole on the side of the trim and I really don't want to find out what happens if that fills up with snow and ice in the winter.

My car is not even 2 years old and its already losing parts. What the hell?!?!?!

I know that there's also a bunch of weird mini splashguard things under the car around the back wheels that looks like they've been attached with a paperclip, they twist and bend around which makes them completely useless. Whatever they're supposed to be, I'm pretty sure that they've been designed by the same person anyway.

Do a web search for Subaru discount car parts or something like that. A site will come up where you can get some pieces cheaper. May be that will help ?

These probably have to be attached to the car when it is sold new because they help achieve the advertised highway gas mileage. Mine always get deflected off from where they're supposed to sit. I suppose the best easy fix these flaps is hot glue, and snap the plastic rivets in as well.
