LNeilB
See this thread and the engine bay pic. http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1316848&postcount=12 http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g88/jsaladino/aemcai.jpg Notice the paint dots on the parts? The braking system has them, and many of the hoses/lines have yellow, orange, blue or white paint dots. What are these?
JBCLegacy
I've seen quality inspectors check off fastener parts at various stages of the assembly line, it's usually to show someone has either checked the torque spec or just a visual to see if its there... Osei
when on fasteners, they are there to check to see if they have been removed. O.
Scruit
when on fasteners, they are there to check to see if they have been removed. O. That only works if it's a thick paint block that is on the side of the fastener and the block - that way they can see if the pain blob is cracked. Mostof the time it's a quality control thing that means "This part is finished and checked"
NSFW
There are dabs on most (all?) of the screws that hold the radio into the dash, too.
