utgt
Will a spec 2+ clutch work with an act street light flywheel? I assume it would but just wondered if anyone knew for sure before I order it.
Infamous1
No, the ACT flywheel is 06+ WRX fitment while the Spec clutch is a direct replacement to be used with a LGT flywheel.
Mr. Ed
well, an 06 spec 2 clutch and an 06 stock flywheel would work... basically spec/spec or speck/stock...don't mix and match. and everything is model specific. what exactly is your goal? the lgt specific spec clutch/flywheel seems to be good. why not do the wrx act clutch and the wrx fly? I did a wrx spec stage 1 clutch and wrx fly. it was great for about 30k at stage2 powers..then it started slipping
Malingator
You can keep your stock flywheel and run a spec clutch...if it can not be re-surfaced spec makes a direct replacement as well. It's a single mass not a dual (stock) so there will be some clatter especially during break-in. I have a stage 3+..if you are runnning higher HP/TQ numbers you might as well go stage 3+..it has the EXACT same feel as the stage 2 and cost the same..it will hold much more power.
