Boost-Drive-Love Posted August 7, 2008 Share Posted August 7, 2008 I was going crazy trying to figure out why my 98 Legacy L wagon was making this high pitched sound under heavy acceleration only above 4,000 rpms. I replaced the belts, fiddled with the intake tract, even replaced the power steering pump thinking it was that! But.. After all that, I realized it was coming from the rear of the car and infact, out the tail-pipe. What are my options in terms of direct bolt on fitment for a rear / muffler section of exhaust? Do any other subaru wagons have an exhaust that will fit, and possibly be a little louder than stock? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
