dc78
I did a search and coun't find a clear answer? I have about 37K miles on the car and the brakes need to be done, Do the brake rotars have to be replaced the first time the pads need to be changed. One shop told me that replacing the rotors was definatley better than machining the rotars be cause the car will stop like crap if you don't. ilh
I just replaced pads (stock to HPS) at 47k and decided my rotors were fine. I didn't resurface and I don't have any noise or vibration issues. I measured my rotors with a digital caliper and I was down 0.46mm of 2.00mm maximum wear. --Lee
meier motor sports
new rotors are better then old rotors. but getting them properly machined will make them almost as good as new and unless you track your car you will probably notice no difference
