FrankieSRT Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 sup all... i have n 08 lgt n i installed a perrin recirc BOV and i get no sound from it at all... is that normal? i was told i needed to do the intake before i will get any noticable sound difference idk im new to all this turbo stuff so im sure i sound like n idiot if anyone can give me an idea of what i did wrong or if the statement that i need intake is true thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RJS5689 Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 Start with proper grammar and complete words? Its because you have a RECIRC valve, that means recirculated. The air isnt being dumped into the atmosphere. The whole point of a recirc valve is so it remains quiet. If you wanted sound you should have gotten the Vent to atmosphere style valve.
