srgdrum
So I installed this ProSport Electric premium boost gauge the other day. Seems to work pretty good. But it has the most annoying, piercing beep at start up. Bugs the crap out of me. The instructions indicate: " Mute Selector: Sey Key Hold After Power On." What the hell does that mean? I've tried to mute it but it doesn't semm to work. Any of you smart guys (or gals) know how to shut this thing up? Permanently but without breaking it? Any ideas short of total destruction are welcome. Thanks!
Prime Power
Hold the button down then power the gauges while still holding the button. That will turn them off.
srgdrum
Doesn't seem to work?! Are you saying power DOWN while holding in button? Lemme try that... Hold on. Nope that don't work either. Crap guess i'll call Prosport...
srgdrum
Got it. Had power on a switched source. It would lose it's memory at every shut off. Fixed. Thanks! Gotta be sure to hold the button for the entire sweep period as well.

srgdrum
The seat heaters are "Unswitched." If you hook power up to the interior fuse box seat heaters it will work correctly. At least mine has so far. Jeez.. Why are the seat heaters on ACC power? That's crazy!
