I never had any intention of getting into the whole social networking thing, but when I was back home in England, a buddy told me about FB. Basically it allows me to stay in touch with and reconnect with friends back in England who I don't get to see. Just shoot the breeze, challenge them to Rock Paper Scissors...whatever. It's just a kinda fun way to stay in touch without pretending that you have something in common with everyone anymore or that you want to e-mail them every day/week. And then I can have fun with family here who I don't see as often either because we all work too much. Horses for courses really, but I get how addictive it can be...Each to their own.
