The couple meets was a blast. I am hoping to get this out there early to avoid confusion and make sure everyone that wanted to go gets to.

Rules you abide by for courtesy of other drivers on the street:

Obey the speed limit.

NO crossing the double yellow line.

NO following to closely.

Drive within YOUR limits !

 

 

What is it:

A friendly all welcome cruise through the Shenandoah National Forest. A very curvy mountain road thats a blast to drive on. A lot of wildlife and awesome picture points. I saw a Bambi (pictured) and a baby bear last time.

 

The meet is around three hours driving time total. For this I would recommend eating before you arrive. Or for the NOVA people eat at the Taco Hell BEFORE the departure time or we will leave you. We will not keep folks up in Front Royal because your eating a your Stuft Burrito.

 

There is A (15) FIFTEEN DOLLAR ENTRANCE FEE. Bring at least that in cash plus extra for gas. CC are accepted but will take a good grip of time and hold up everyone.

I would strongly urge you to use mapquest. Since some have asked can i just get to it by going to the Fair Oaks mall. Its probably a mile or two away. If you not from the area and have never been there. It can be tricky to find without directions. Again get directions or use a GPS !!!

The entrance is less than a fews miles away from the Rite Aid.

 

When all is said and done, we can take 211 back home.

 

 

Expect to be back home after 6 or 7pm.
