MiniStiGuy
nice... hey keefe I have this annoying squeel from my brakes. Goes away once I put slight preassure on the pads. I used antisieze on the backing plates but not on the side metal linings. Should I use it on those aswell? it isn't a constant squeel just a rotational chirp. Xenonk
so far, the brakes are holding up well and the heat capacity of them isn't that much different from stock and DBA4000s. Although i haven't tracked these rotors yet, the rotors are definitely a good cost-effective alternative to DBA4000s with the good reliable performance of stock rotor. They do not make noise if anyone is asking and they havent warped yet from my 10-minute 10-second intervals of 40mph to 15mph braking session using Hawk Ceramic pads. So far, so great! trailblaze
would anyone advise using Hawk HPS pads V.S. Hawk Ceramic pads with the brakeswap rotors? would it make a difference to the "spirited" driver?
magnetic1
Not much difference. The Ceramics will last longer and dust less, but also less aggressive. fweasel
HPS dust levels are less than OEM and very tolerable, on my cars anyway. ignore him, he'll go away.
