changing tire do I have to

Recommended Posts

change all the tires at same time,or can I replace 2 at a time

TY in advance

All 4 of them. You can not have more than 1/4" difference in circumference(note I did not say 32nds which most dumbass tire shops try to tell you) of all the tires.

It depends on the difference in wear between the new single tire vs the 3 others. The average of 3 must be within 1/4" circumference(distance around measured at same spot at proper pressure) of the new tire.

"circumference is the magic word."

Not necessarily related, but once I had A SAAB 900 where uneven wear changed the circumference of the fronts enough that it caused the car to 'pull' slightly in the direction of the tire.
