blackfang
change all the tires at same time,or can I replace 2 at a time AWD legacy outback TY in advance All 4 of them. You can not have more than 1/4" difference in circumference(note I did not say 32nds which most dumbass tire shops try to tell you) of all the tires. rjundi
change all the tires at same time,or can I replace 2 at a time AWD legacy outback TY in advance It depends on the difference in wear between the new single tire vs the 3 others. The average of 3 must be within 1/4" circumference(distance around measured at same spot at proper pressure) of the new tire.

f1anatic
He does not have LSDs so he probably will be fine with replacing 2 at a time.
SSN666
"circumference is the magic word." Not necessarily related, but once I had A SAAB 900 where uneven wear changed the circumference of the fronts enough that it caused the car to 'pull' slightly in the direction of the tire.
