ItalynStylion
Wow, what a great deadening job! That's how it should be done! I think 2 layers of Damplifier or one layer of Damplifier Pro is enough in my case for most areas. How thick is ensolite?
16psibrick
yeah, when it comes to foam, i do prfer the Ed Edead V4, cause its sticky backed arleady, i just hate masking and spraying adhesive and then rolling on ensolite, at leats from a professional installers perspective ehehe looks GREAT! b
terrangama
Great posts guys, so if I wanted pure sound deadening (aka luxury car) I would want to get the raamat ensolite? Would I need to do the raamat hxt first like the pictures?
ean611
Biz77, how much ensolite did you use? I want to make sure I have enough!
biz77
My install took 8 yards to cover what you see in the trunk, on the rear deck, behind various interior panels and on the outer and inner skin of all four doors. I did not use any on the floor or firewall. The ensolite product is 1/8" thick. Others offer similar products in varying thicknesses and varying prices, but I believe the ensolite is the least expensive. For anyone that wants to quiet down road noise in the car I personally feel that the foam-type products offer much more noticeable results, are much easier to install and cost quite a bit less.
