fredrik_wt
I want to know if someone have placed their extra lights at the roof, or have see any pics with that mod? http://www.garaget.org/?car=32945&image=595863 this is how I got it today, but I plan to change to an outback, ant 4 smaller lights at roof maybe could give the car a cool look. What do you think about it??
c-lo
well it's not on the roof, but this is a cool option: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47809&highlight=light+bar 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
fredrik_wt
ah, the problem is that lights dont perform well when they are that low in the front, the higher you put it, the better performance. We got a lot of companies here that made this kind of light bars, in upp to 86mm in diameter... So that one looks pretty weak
Blue GT
On the roof on an outback would be pretty cool, you might have to add 30" superswampers though
vermont22gt
i've done this on an old subi GL 4x4 wagon.Lights on your roof are great if you do a lot of nighttime wheelin'.For faster road driving i'd turn them off & turn on lower driving lamps.Upper lights will light up your hood like you would'nt believe.Major distraction at higher speeds, especially if your hood is a light color.
