CTATV Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I dont have any extended warranty issues but I do have the 36,000 mile stock warranty for another 6,000 miles. I was planning on doing the 30k mile service myself next week while im off for spring break. would that be an issue if I have warranty claims later down the road? if so would it be OK of an independent garage had done it not a subaru stealership? I know lots of people who work at garages and in that case could have doccumentation printed up that they had done the work if prompted for documentation of the service...
Opie Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Just keep detailed records of what you did, the date and mileage and save the receipts for the parts & fluids you used. Just as you should do with any of the maintenance you perform yourself.
CTATV Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 cool, Just ordered an AVO panel filter from rallitek on sale for 45 bucks, will buy the other fluids and such locally... Excited to put the filter in and see difference in sound/flow if any are noticeable. Had to replace filter anyways so why not go with a quality one... Want to do Ebay CBE, DP, and AP down the road
